A website
you can talk to.

Tell your AI assistant what your website needs — Publishing shows the preview, goes live with one click and remembers every version. Open to everyone since October 2026, and trying it costs nothing.

The starting point

Small websites,
big overhead.

A practice, a club, a craft business: the website has a handful of pages and rarely changes. Yet a whole content management system hangs off it, with updates, plugins, security holes and a login nobody can find any more. Every change to the opening hours becomes a job.

At the same time, many people already pay for an AI subscription that can write copy and build entire pages. What was missing was a safe way from there onto their own website.

Building a website with AI

The assistant writes.
Publishing does the rest.

01

With Claude, ChatGPT or a code editor

Claude, ChatGPT or a code editor is connected to MADLAB // Publishing once. After that you say in your own words what should change. No new program, no interface to learn — the AI subscription you already have is enough.

02

Look first, then go live

Every change lands in a preview first. Before publishing, Publishing checks the page for findability, speed and accessibility; then only the changed files are transferred.

03

Every version stays

Publishing remembers every state. If something goes wrong, the previous version is one click away. Whoever owns the website decides who may publish.

Control, not AI magic

AI is fast.
The website stays safe.

A language model may write, but not everything. Hosting credentials are never entered in the chat; they are stored in the portal. The assistant signs in through its own approval dialog and sees only the websites it has been given access to.

Add to that what a small website otherwise solves with extra services: contact forms with spam protection, visitor statistics without cookies or a consent banner, domain and SSL in one place. And the website stays its owner’s property — ordinary files, exportable at any time.

From a CMS to a website without one

No rebuild.
No move.

Most people already have a website. Publishing takes it over in the chat, page by page and image by image — from then on it is maintained in conversation.

01

Name it

Say in the chat which website should be taken over.

02

Confirm

Show once that it is yours — with a file or a DNS record. It takes a minute.

03

Keep it up

Change, check the preview, publish. A WordPress or TYPO3 site becomes plain HTML along the way: no login, no updates, nothing to hack.

The one you are looking at

This website
is the proof.

madlab.ch was made with exactly this technology: more than twenty pages in five languages, scene images, video loops and case studies, built and maintained in conversation. This page included.

It began in summer 2026 as an internal experiment on a single private website. That became MADLAB // Tools, which we use to look after client sites — and that became MADLAB // Publishing, built for everyone who has no agency behind them.

The free plan

Trying it
costs nothing.

The free plan is not a trial that runs out after fourteen days. One website, built in the chat, with preview, versions and rollback — live at its own address, with a small “Made with ♥” badge at the edge. No commitment, and free for good.

You only pay once the website should run under your own domain without the badge.

MADLAB // Publishing: pricing with the free plan, the “Website” plan and the agency offer
When it gets serious

Publish
wherever you like.

The “Website” plan costs CHF 169 a year. There are two ways to host — preview, versions and assistant stay the same in both.

01

MADLAB hosting with your own domain

Everything included: web space in Switzerland and the EU, SSL, daily backups, contact forms. Bring your own domain or order it directly from us.

02

Your own hosting

If you already have web space, you keep it. Publishing publishes straight to it; the credentials are stored once in the portal.

03

For agencies

From ten websites there is an agency rate with personal support, access keys and preview addresses for client sign-off.

Frequently asked

Building a website with AI:
the most common questions.

Can I build a website with ChatGPT?

Yes. ChatGPT writes the copy and builds the pages – to turn that into a website on the web, it needs a connection to web space. MADLAB // Publishing is that connection: ChatGPT is connected once, then builds the page, shows a preview and only publishes once you approve.

Can I build a website with Claude?

Yes, in the same way. MADLAB // Publishing is added to Claude as a connector. From then on you say in conversation what the website needs – a new page, different opening hours, a new header image – and Claude does it, with preview and versions.

What does “a website without a CMS” mean?

There is no content management system such as WordPress or TYPO3 with a login, database, plugins and updates. The website consists of ordinary files and is changed through the AI assistant. That means less maintenance, hardly any attack surface and fast loading. If you have many editors, roles and thousands of articles, a CMS serves you better – we build those too.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. You describe in your own words what should change and see the result in the preview before it goes live. If you like, you can still edit or export the files yourself at any time.

What does a website with MADLAB // Publishing cost?

The free plan costs nothing, for good: one website, live at its own address, with a small badge. The “Website” plan costs CHF 169 a year – with your own domain, no badge, on MADLAB hosting in Switzerland and the EU or on your existing web space. You bring your own AI subscription for Claude or ChatGPT.

Can I take over my existing WordPress website?

Yes. You say in the chat which website should be taken over and confirm once that it is yours. Publishing fetches it page by page and image by image. After that it is a website without a CMS: no login, no plugin updates, nothing to hack.
